The geek shall inherit the Earth

Going to Atlanta!

October 1st, 2008

Well, the time has finally arrived, Webmaster Jam Session! I’m pretty excited about this trip. I attended last year in Dallas and I learned a lot. I’ve been to a couple of different conferences so far and I think WJS has probably the most casual atmosphere. During the day web developers and designers have choices of workshops taught by some of the best in the business. During breaks we have the opportunity to talk shop with others. In the evenings, the scheduled meetups ensure that you can grab someone to chat with. Last year I was amazed at how willing the presenters were to sit and chat with us.

So I am finishing up my last minute packing and have an early morning flight. I will spend most of my travel time with my ipod, a book, and will take some time to decide which sessions I will attend.

I should be putting up pictures to my flickr account as I go so look out for those.
